| My photos and artwork may NOT be used for ANY purpose without my written permission. They are NOT "Stock" Thanks! Do I really have to say this again? Apparently so..via a note I received... And if someone loaded them onto a stock site; that is without my permission and is art theft. Got it! Good! As everyone who does photography knows-it's work! I get paid for it! I get published. Some of the time, the photos aren't great-but I work to find the subjects and fight through weather and technical problems with equipment and so on. I spent the time weeding through the good , the bad and the awful. Thousands of photos a week-literally! No one has a right to them except me and things I offer for sale on DA. If you find my work on a stock site-I WANT to know about it! Removing someone's copyright from an artwork is a crime!! Not just morally but legally. So my art is not for you to use and claim you created in anyway-in any form---if you want to use it for a model for a painting-ask me-I rarely say no. No photo shopping! No manipulations! Etc. The art on this site is not stock unless it says so and mine does NOT say that. Before you use someone's art-either ask them or read the terms and restrictions of use. FYI-stock art is not always FREE either and it is proper to name the artist whose art your are using including model's names etc. If you still don't understand-ask me! |
