too close-he then ran up my arm and hid in my hair-thank god they rarely don't bite!! ^_^

This is NOT a pet. Not domesticated. This is small wild animal. I would not recommend playing with one as much as I did for this photo.

I have had them leap on me from stupid places like the shower curtain, the ceiling we were replacing, silly places mice should not be.
I discovered if you don't grab them-they will won't bite-but they will hang out on you shoulder for a while or in you shirt or in your hair or ........ if handled with care and hope you don't get the Hauta Virus from them-they can be pretty cool.

BTW-I've been using a small have a hart-a-trap and letting them go outside-they can be rather distructive inside.

Awww.... and it has such glossy, pretty furr too.
Even though they're destructive, I'm jealous you've had that kind of experience with the mice in your house ^_^
My experience: clean up after them, finally catch them (by killing them) and leave them for the other wild animals. *NOT so good*
Awww…I can't believe how close he let you get--and those huge black eyes are gorgeous! I can definitely see how they'd be destructive though--even worse because you wouldn't be able to bring yourself to kill them. I'm glad we don't have any here. College dorms would be a mouse's paradise, but you'd never be able to remove them.

well-the cat scared one to death last wek and I alomost stepped onit-so I figured-the trap was next- Iused the kill trap for a
while and they make great snake food. But now that it's spring-out they go. I though it less cruel to just dispatch them inthe winter better than freezing to death.

I hat doing it cos they are cute-but there were way to many.

Oh I can bring myself to kill them int he winter-when they get out of hand-the Hauta Virus threat makes me have to cut down on them. Not to mention the food destruction.

But when spring comes I let them go to visit the neighbors. LOL

It's a shame really cos theya re cute and have a nice personality-but having 200 in your house-is too many. I'm a clean freak-so when they invade-I must do soemthing. I have got to show you the wall they come through-and there is no way to change it so they can't get in.

I imagine they leave little "presents" everywhere, too. But they're so cute!
